Expanding our Industrial Coatings Products & Services
07/24/2015 | Dunn Edwards |
Dunn-Edwards® is committed to meeting the needs of the high-performance industrial markets. To accomplish this goal, we focus on three key initiatives — expanding our light- and heavy-industrial product portfolio, increase and improve our store infrastructure by adding industrial and lacquer tinting capabilities, and establish a core group of NACE CIP Level I-certified coatings experts.
Comprehensive Product Lines for Every Architectural or Industrial Project
Dunn-Edwards offers a wide range of coatings to meet the needs of any project type with products that can withstand any service environment. In addition to the high-quality, Dunn-Edwards-branded products [PRODUCT-PAGE#ultrashield], [PRODUCT-PAGE#syn-lustro], [PRODUCT-PAGE#enduragloss] and [PRODUCT-PAGE#super-loc-premium], we have also partnered with leaders in the high-performance coatings industry. Dunn-Edwards now offers a complete lineup of Carboline®, Devoe®, Modern Masters® and Rust-Oleum® light- and heavy-duty industrial product solutions. Whether the project calls for a light-duty, single-component acrylic or a heavy-duty epoxy or urethane finish, we have the right product for the project. If anti-graffiti or waterproofing coatings are specified, we offer product solutions through Rainguard®, Monopole® and OKON®. No matter the need, we have a high-performance solution available.
Industrial Product Tinting Capabilities
In 2015, Dunn-Edwards has expanded our lacquer and industrial tinting capabilities to better serve the lacquer and industrial markets. In addition to the six industrial and lacquer tint centers at our Laguna Hills, Miramar, Mission Hills, Las Vegas and Tempe locations, we have also added industrial tinting capabilities at our Anaheim, Ontario and Oxnard stores. Plans and construction are currently under way to expand our industrial tinting capabilities at our Albuquerque, Bakersfield, Culver City, Rancho Cordova (Sacramento), San Diego and Tucson locations. We will also be converting our Anaheim and Ontario locations to accommodate lacquer tinting. All of these stores are staffed with trained, professional personnel who are capable of providing superior quality color-matching services, so you can be confident you will get the right color the first time.

Dunn-Edwards is proud to announce that we have completed our first of two NACE CIP Level I Coatings Inspector Certification courses through the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE®) International. NACE offers technical training, certification programs, conferences, reports, publications, industry standards and governmental relations activities. Utilizing the NACE CIP Level I Certification program, Dunn-Edwards now has more than 20 highly trained and focused individuals with a much greater, in-depth knowledge of corrosion control, substrate preparation, coatings and inspection knowledge, which can better serve the needs of the architectural, commercial, and light- and heavy-industrial coatings markets. By August, we will have more than 40 NACE-trained coatings specialists throughout our footprint, making Dunn-Edwards the premier resource for industrial coatings specifications, project solutions and failure analysis.
