One of the busiest and most colorful times of the year is during the winter holiday season. It's during this time that many of us working with color and design find inspiration for the year ahead. Here are just a few of the winters, festivals and locations to inspire your winter season.
LA Zoo Lights at Griffith Park
For the first time since 2009, the light show at the LA Zoo has returned with a beautiful twinkling display of lights scattered throughout the zoo. From Nov 28 through January 4, this walking tour guides through a spectacular festival of illuminated fun and joy. There's even reindeer to see!
Queen Mary CHILL
Experience the frozen, colorful ice-block sculptures on display in an igloo called The Ice Kingdom by the famed Queen Mary cruiseliner docked in Long Beach, CA. The ice exhibit is hand-carved and created by a team of artistic experts from Harbin, China, and enhanced with LED lights to create a visually stunning experience. You can also go sledding, ice skating, visit Santa Claus and experience the holiday village.
The Christmas Lights at Sleepy Hollow
Every town has “that neighborhood" where it turns magical this time of year with light shows galore. Sleepy Hollow, also referred to as Candy Cane Lane among others, is located in Torrance, CA. Every year for the month of December, the neighborhood comes alive with holiday lights and front yard displays for walkers and drivers to gaze upon.
