How the latest colors and earth-friendly paints can help move your property management business forward
The year 2023 is almost here. It's hard to believe, but we're already half way through the calendar, and the clock isn't slowing down for anyone. The pandemic dramatically altered certain aspects of our lives, and its effects will echo for some time to come. It is as though we've rounded a corner in time—trends, supply chains, social preferences, and geopolitical relationships have all entered a new era. Considering all of this change and upheaval, managing your property the old way could leave you (and your profit margins) stuck in the past. Bringing your building's color palette into the future doesn't necessarily have to be a big change. For example, you could update your modern, cold white exterior facade with slightly warmer tones such as Quiet Splendor (DE5323) or Mother of Pearl (DE6029) from the Well Intentions trends palette to give it a more comforting, spa-like feel. From the same palette, deeply peaceful forest colors such as Spruce Woods (DE6238) and Mink (DE6392) can make common areas feel safe and rejuvenating, while maintaining the modern vibe.
If you're trying to attract a younger, more vibrant community, then the Live in Joy trends palette could be just what your property needs. Exterior color options range from the muted, high tech Soft Moss (DE5610) to show-stopping bolds like Stargazing (DE6336) and Kinetic Energy (DEFD49). For common areas, punchy accents include colors like Energy Orange (DE223) and Get Up and Go (DE5636). You could give your traditional, Baroque, or Victorian building a mysterious anchor hue such as Summer Night (DE5811) or Midnight Blush (DE5913) from the Liberated Nomad trends palette. For common areas, adding splashes of color such as Limelight (DE5516) or Fiery Fuchsia (DEA101) can give spaces an air of contemporary intelligence inspired by this palette.
