Celebrating Mid-Century Modern Design at Modernism Week 2026
Modernism Week returns to Palm Springs February 12-22, 2026, bringing together design lovers to celebrate the enduring influence of mid-century modern architecture, interiors, and culture. As a proud sponsor of this iconic event, Dunn-Edwards is excited to once again support thoughtful design, architectural innovation, and the vibrant spirit that defines Palm Springs.
From featured home tours to immersive conversations around color, our involvement reflects a shared passion for a design movement rooted in simplicity, impact, and livable elegance, one that continues to inspire today’s designers and homeowners.
Below are the Modernism Week 2026 projects and activations where you can experience Dunn-Edwards throughout the week.
Visit CAMP for Color Inspiration
CAMP—the central hub of Modernism Week—will once again be the place to gather for inspiration, conversation, and connection. Visit Dunn-Edwards at Hyatt Palm Springs, where our booth features a Decades-inspired backdrop celebrating the evolution of mid-century color and design. Participate in our “Which Decade Are You?” sweepstakes and explore color inspiration across iconic design decades. And have fun with paint-by-numbers featuring SHAG art. CAMP is free to attend and open Thursday, February 12 through Sunday, February 22.
Modernism Week Featured Home Tour: The Marquee at Twin Palms
The Marquee at Twin Palms offers a luminous look at classic mid-century architecture thoughtfully reimagined for modern living. Built in 1957 and meticulously renovated by H3K Home + Design, the home exemplifies post-and-beam design with soaring ceilings, expansive walls of glass, and breathtaking mountain views. A dramatic breeze-block entry sets the tone, while interiors balance sleek lines and warm textures that honor the home’s original character. Outdoors, a sparkling pool, spa, and chic cabana create a seamless indoor-outdoor experience that feels quintessentially Palm Springs.
Modernism Week Featured Home Tour: Soleil House by Trina Turk
Located in the historic Mesa neighborhood at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains, Soleil House by Trina Turk is a vibrant transformation of a once-neglected 1963 home. Infused with Trina Turk’s signature bold color, playful pattern, and joyful sensibility, the renovation preserves the home’s original footprint while introducing modern technology and contemporary comfort. The result is a seamless blend of mid-century simplicity and Palm Springs ease, complemented by panoramic views of Palm Canyon and the Santa Rosa Mountains.
Atomic Ranch Talk & Tour: The Making of The Marquee at Twin Palms
The Atomic Ranch Talk & Tour offers an immersive look at the evolution of The Marquee at Twin Palms, taking guests beyond the walkthrough and into the renovation process itself. Hosted by Atomic Ranch editor Jickie Torres, the poolside conversation features Howard Hawkes and Kevin Kemper of H3K Home + Design, alongside Lauren Hoferkamp, Dunn-Edwards Color Marketing Manager. The discussion explores how the home evolved from a casual getaway into a refined retreat, strategies for developing a cohesive color palette, and how to prioritize updates over time. The experience concludes with a Q&A, a second walkthrough of the home, a free gift from Dunn-Edwards, and a complimentary copy of Atomic Ranch magazine.
