The HOA chose Dunn-Edwards ultra-premium EVERSHIELD flat for masonry and wood substrates and ultra-premium ARISTOSHIELD for metal surfaces and high-traffic areas. Doug Morris, Pacific Western’s director of operations, said the project was a success because of the amount of coordination, checks and double-checks all parties involved initiated. Everyone’s involvement contributed to a well-organized effort. The Pacific Western team appreciated Dunn-Edwards’ support, particularly from their Property Service Representative Jessica Osborne, who immersed herself in the planning process and helped clarify details, specifically hard-to-see line breaks in the paint scheme on angled surfaces and pop-outs.

“We spent a lot of time with Julie and the HOA’s color committee to sort all that out,” Morris, said. “Julie helps us a lot on other projects as well.” The added support is what Pacific Western has come to expect from Dunn-Edwards through the years, as the company has time and again stepped in to offer guidance on best application practices and product specs, while always putting the customer first. “Whenever something comes up, they’re on the ball. We really trust their input on projects,” Morris added. “Dunn-Edwards has always taken care of us.”
