“We operate with a high level of integrity and work hard to deliver on promises while always keeping our eyes open for ways to improve what we do,” Jennifer summarized. Through the years, working with Dunn-Edwards has also helped the Marmors deliver on promises to customers. “Our paint representative has been with us since 2007. He’s our go-to guy. He is quick to respond to our requests, he’s knowledgeable, and he probably forgets more about paint than many of us will ever know in our lifetime,” Nathan added.
The CertaPro franchisees worked with Dunn-Edwards recently on a Central Arizona project located about an hour south of Phoenix, in Eloy. There, Robson Ranch is home to thousands of retirees. With development starting in 2005 and more than 4,600 homes expected at full build-out, the active adult community offers a wide range of amenities. And some were due for a cosmetic refresh. CertaPro was called upon to repaint the gated community’s clubhouse, recreation center, pools and cabanas, sales center, pro shop, guardhouse and softball field buildings.

Due to the variety of different structures, the project also had several stakeholders involved, including HOA board members, commercial building owners, and Robson company representatives. And high quality coatings, attention to detail, and minimizing resident disruption are keys to a flawless execution on any Robson Resort Communities project. The remote area proved to be a challenge, too, but nothing Dunn-Edwards and CertaPro couldn’t handle together. “The closest Dunn-Edwards store was about 38 minutes away and with us getting crews down there from Phoenix, it was important the product was delivered on time so crews could get right to work when they got there,” Jennifer said.
For concrete stucco surfaces, the crews used Dunn-Edwards ultra-premium EVERSHIELD flat and ARISTOSHIELD semi-gloss on all metal surfaces. The pros believe that manufacturing the paint in the Grand Canyon State assures their customers of better-quality paint for their locale. “The Arizona desert is harsh,” Nathan noted. “Dunn-Edwards understands that and makes a product that holds up well in our environment. We see this as a competitive advantage.”
