Dunn-Edwards is continuously dedicated to preserving and protecting the environment. Our low and Zero VOC paints offer superior paint performance and durability while protecting the well-being of our customers. We also believe that our paints can invite exploration of new territories and marveling at the world around us. That is why we’re teaming up with HoneyLove.org to host a build your own bee box event Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m at Dunn-Edwards Paints in Culver City, California. Marvel at, and learn about, the world of bees with this hands on event. Head apiary inspector for LA County, Conrad Burton, will be in attendance to help with anyone interested in registering a beehive in their backyard.

2017’s Color Of The Year Inspiration
HoneyLove.org is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization that protects the honey bees by educating our communities and inspiring new urban beekeepers. It is also the inspiration behind our 2017 Color of the Year, Honey Glow. Honey Glow’s warm golden yellow and orange undertones are reflective of world color trends and evoke rich, bold emotions - creating a buzz in any room.

Spring is a particularly vulnerable time for bees as they leave their hives in order to create new homes and find new nectar. Come by the bee box building event to build your own bee box and decorate it with Dunn- Edwards colorful, low VOC paints. We’re excited to have street mural artist Clinton Bopp on hand to help people draw and paint their boxes. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative boxes!
